Exercise Dose Not Work!!

What you must be crazy!! That's what I keep hearing when I say this to people. And maybe I am but keep reading why I say that.


Ok so we all know exercise has been around for centuries. They might have called it something different before but its been around and is not going anywhere anytime soon. So you must be wondering ok what else am I not telling you? Well I am going to tell you what all the supplement companies do not want to tell you. Exercise dose not work...but yes it does. Ok so now I must be really crazy! Ok so what is the catch?

In a recent study done at the University of Texas based on exercise and nutritional supplements found out that exercise dose not really work all that well. What they did is they had individuals train with a trainer for 12 weeks. The individuals they chose were doing no exercise at all before the study. Out of those 12 weeks they were training 5 times a week which was about 6 hours of training a week. Three of the workouts were strength training session and the other two were circuits and interval training sessions. After the 12 weeks they had about 60-62 exercise sessions each. So if you add that up if they were paying for the trainer where the average session cost would be $60-100 an hr you would spend anywhere from $3,500-$7,000 or more! So at the end you would expect to look amazing right? Well heres the fact of that study between the group of 50 that exercised and a group of 50 that did nothing. The group that did exercise gained about .7lbs and the group that did not exercise gains about .5lbs. Sounds great right? You must also be thinking as a trainer why am I telling you this so far it makes you not want to train which of course would be bad for me, but keep reading and find out why.

Ok so looking at that you would say no one lost any weight but wait, just because they did not lose weight dose not mean the did not change their body fat percentage and muscle mass. So when you look at those numbers the group that did exercise lost 2.0lbs. of fat and the group that did nothing lost .5lbs of fat. The group that exercised also gained about 2.5lbs of lean muscle and the group that did nothing gained 1.0lb of lean muscle. Ok so there was a difference between the two groups, so yes that exercise worked, but how effective was it? If you only got those results over the 12 weeks and you paid $7,000 and after all that you look in the mirror and still will look the same. So ok here's the catch that exercise alone dose not work. So what does work you must me asking yourself now? Well I would not just leave you with that. The point is exercise without a sound nutritional plan will just let you down. I do not want that to happen I do not want to see you fail and feel like there is nothing out there that can help you. But do not let that get to you if its you me or anyone else exercise without a nutritional plan will not work for anyone. So ok now you probably can see why I showed this to you. What I am here to do is not only teach you how to workout effectively but also teach you how to eat right to get you where you want to be. So stop wasting time and money doing one without the other because neither exercise or nutrition alone is going to get you to where you want to be.
